Forecasting

Forecasting dates for the 2024-2025 school year will be posted here as soon as they are available.

Every spring, our students take steps to request courses (forecasting) for the following school year. Students and parents are urged to consider future goals, previous grades, attendance habits and study habits when selecting classes. Students are also encouraged to discuss potential course choices with their current teachers and academic counselors.

First choices are not always possible, so students are encouraged to identify multiple alternate choices. Sometimes, we are not able to offer specific classes for a variety of reasons.

Students need to be sure when making selections that the classes they are selecting are classes they are committed to taking. Changes are often not an option after classes are full.

Placement in certain required courses will be determined by teacher recommendation, test scores, writing samples and/or published criteria.
