MPACT: Medford Pre-Apprenticeship for Construction Trades
What is MPACT?
MPACT is a pre-apprenticeship program that prepares students who may be seeking careers in the construction trades, such as electrical, plumbing, residential/commercial construction, and heating/air conditioning.
MPACT is designed to help students build the necessary skills to meet the entry qualifications needed to enter an apprenticeship program or workforce.
While in MPACT, you will:
- Complete at least one credit in Construction Tech or Manufacturing
- Complete online OSHA 10 certification
- Participate in at least one trades event
- Create a trades-geared resume
- Learn how to apply for a registered apprenticeship
- Participate in at least four other trades-related activities

Eligibility Requirements
- Be a junior or senior in high school
- Be on target for graduation
- Have earned one credit in Algebra 1
- Have earned at least one credit in a CTE Construction Technology or Manufacturing program
- Receive a positive recommendation from your CTE instructor

After Submission, you will be contacted by the Panther Future Center Coordinator.
